RTS AP1600

The RTS Access Point offers protection from environmental issues such as dust, moisture and temperature in industrial applications.

The RTS Access Point is housed in a protective steel case with a hinged door that allows easy access to the internal components. All connectors are sealed from the environment. The Access Point can be situated either within a building or externally.

Installation of mains power points can often increase the cost of the spread spectrum infrastructure. With the ability to take power from a central point, the RTS PoE (Power over Ethernet) Access Point version can be a cost effective alternative where local mains power at the Access Point is not essential.

The Access Point provides a bridge between the wired Ethernet LAN and wireless networks which provides transparent access between the wired LAN and WiFi-equipped mobile devices.

The RTS AP1600 Access Point is equipped with the Cisco Aironet 1600 series unit which delivers an enterprise-class wireless LAN solution. It is designed specifically for challenging environments such as factories, warehouses and large retail establishments.

Features Benefits
