RTS Tracer 5

The RTS Tracer 5 is a robust mobile radio data terminal, purpose built for handheld operations within a warehouse environment. It has been ergonomically designed for day-long use and to overcome challenges including operation at -30ºC to +40ºC temperatures, as seen in cold storage and ambient environments.

The built-in bar code scanner has a read range from 5 centimetres to 10 metres, allowing for a wide variety of uses. An alternative fuzzy logic option reads damaged or partially obscured barcodes with ease.

Utilising LINUX technology, user operation has been simplified through fast start up times and extremely reliable operation, reducing frustration caused by typical operating system failures.

Additionally, this reliability increases productivity and reduces errors in receiving, tracking, put-away, picking, and scanning by not having to rekey information after terminal failure.

The Tracer 5 provides a bright 240 X 160 pixel backlit, full colour display for an easy to read colour screen.

The RTS Tracer 5 supports numerous network options, including Symbol Spectrum 24 and CISCO Aironet.
