Radio Terminal Systems, the Australian market leader in manufacturing and integrating rugged mobile devices, today announced a global distribution agreement with Warp Systems to sell RTS SRS5 and IRS5 barcode scanners.
The SRS5 and IRS5 barcode scanners have been specifically designed to be used with the Symbol VC5090, VRC7900 and VRC8900 series terminals and the Intermec CV30 and CV60 terminals in ether ambient or low-temperature applications.
Both the SRS5 and IRS5 barcode scanners provide end-users with the confidence of continuous operation at low temperatures up to -30o Celsius.
The partnership enables RTS to increase its market reach, opening up potential overseas channels and the ability to partner with resellers specialising in cold storage applications globally.
Warp Systems are an Australian distributor for Symbol Technologies (the mobility division of Motorola), so the arrangement will enable Warp to expand its business into exporting where traditionally it has been an importer only.
Brendan Bryant, Business Development Manager of Radio Terminal Systems stated: “Appointing Warp Systems as our global distributor provides RTS with a strategic partner that has extensive experience in the distribution of data capture products with renowned sales expertise which will assist us to accelerate penetration into local and global markets.
Warp systems maintain a well managed online website that enables partners to view and purchase the products with ease.
Doug Phillips, Managing Director for Warp Systems added: “The RTS SRS5 and IRS5 scanners are very unique. We expect the scanners to be very successful in the global market with them being available online from February 2009″
